Feeding the wife and family has been a major role of every husband and father since the beginning and it's a role every responsible man should play even though civilization has been twisting most of this things from different angles.

In Africa it is a taboo for the wife to feed the husband and family even though some situations might call for that. And so many great men, philanthropist, monks and religious leaders have spoken against it.

Taking care of the wife and family is the most important thing in every husbands life at that stage in life. The Bible, Quran and other religious books have it written that the role of a husband in the family is that of a leader and leading is the most important thing in every leaders life. Once that importance is lost, the reason of  existence is beaten and that being becomes irrelevant to his world beginning from his family as it has been said "charity begins at home" the wife is every man's home.

Reliability is a virtue that is earned and it is the doings of a man that makes him reliable. Food is one of the basic needs of humans and people tend to love and respect the provider of food, like the Employee respect the Employer and the baby respects and loves his or her mother it is that principle that guides the Man also when it come's to wife and family matters. Every man is a provider in his family

That is the mentality that runs in the mind of the wife and child and that makes them to feel safe and protected whenever the Man is around and even when he is not at home, his presence covers.
